(Glacial Cliffs) - 2000
The cliffs at Overstrand are Glacial, the various colours and textures are superb to see.

(Fault with Chalk and Wroxham Crag) - 2000
When you first go on the beach from the car park, you will notice a fault in the cliff. A short but high chalk section can be seen with the Wroxham Crag resting upon it. The Wroxham Crag is actually present along this beach at the base of the cliff with the Cromer Forest Bed further East. Both of these are usually covered by glacial landslips or are below beach level and so cannot be seen. During scouring the Wroxham Crag is exposed near the base of the cliff, but has been washed away from the main foreshore.

(Chalk on the foreshore) - 2000
The upper chalk (Maastrichtian) is exposed on the foreshore along the beach from Overstrand to Sidestrand but again only during scouring conditons.
